So, I'm reviewing skills. Does anyone have any practical experience of the Diplomacy Skill that was introduced in The Lathe Worlds?

I want to like it, and I can see how there may be situations where it's quite thematic to use (rather than just depending on Charm, Intimidate or Deceive in what will amount to one-on-one conversation(s)).

But I'd like to see what others think of it, especially those with some practical experience. But honestly, all comments on it would be great.

I had a player who played Factor of the Lathes. After discussion, we decided that we would use this skill only when we'll be too lazy to roleplay negotiations.
