If you could pick ONE person to make a surprise appearance in Episode 7, who would it be?

I'm going with Starkiller, with the obvious Sam Witwer playing him

But as an honorable mention - I'd LOVE to see Kyle Katarn. And depending on his age, I COULD see Russel Crow playing an older Kyle, but I'd rather see him not TOO old, and I'd rather see him played by Nathan Fillion: (he'd have to grow a beard but I think he could pull it off)

Kyle and Jan for sure. Hell just get the 2 people who played them in dark forces 2. That jan actress was hot.

ok seriously now. I'd like to see corran horn. Who to play as him though? He's been portrayed by many different people from comics to ccgs / which are not consistant.. I'd recomend: drum rol... Bruce Campbell, hail to the king baby. he's used to fighting evil, has a boom stick (lightsaber could be a new form of boom stick) and is very well liked and a great actor.

Starkiller isn't canon anymore...so that's very unlikely.

The obvious choice is Lando, and the fan choice is probably Boba Fett.

However I'll go with an adult Ahsoka Tano (assuming she survived all this time). Would be a nice way to tie all the saga together.

Nathan Fillion would be a great appearance. I've only seen short clips from the games in which Kyle Katarn is featured. The portrayal was. ... erm... well.. I guess it's hard for me to feel it not having played the game.

It would be fun to see Denis Lawson quickly return as Wedge, but I don't really find the actor or the character from the books particularly compelling.

I'd like to see Mara Jade, but she would require too much backstory to do her justice. At the same time, a cameo would be fun. Christina Hendricks or Claudia Christian could pull her off, I think.

Not only do I have a mancrush on Fillion, but he's an awesome guy, great actor, has a hella' sense of humor. If he became the new face for Katarn, I'd have absolutely no issue with that what so ever.

As for Witwer, he's said a few times, "I'm down with it." if anyone wanted to cast him as Starkiller. But let's make sure TFU II isn't canon, aye?

But yeah, these two would be great to see. I really am not kidding when I say I'd love to see Kyle on the big screen. If there was ever an EU character that just so perfectly fit what Star Wars was, it was him.

I guess if that's who the female in the casting announcement is then I'm okay with her too. With all I've seen and read so far, I am confident that I will like Episode 7 regardless.

I would not mind a rewrite of the EU for episode 7 pitting Kyle Katarn directly against Admiral Thrawn.

I like ScarJo. But I have a hard time seeing her in SW. That said, if she were to make an appearance, Jaina would be a good character for her to do.

Some people seem to think EU stuff is off limits. That isn't true at all. In fact, Lando and Boba Fett are very LIKELY to appear at some point, (Maybe not Ep 7, but perhaps 8 or 9).

I'm more or less asking about who you would LIKE to see, from any source.

Another good one would be Mara Jade - I'm sure many of us expect to see her make the jump from EU to Canon. Since Mara Jade would probably have to be a little older for Ep 7, I'll go ahead an nominate Famke Janssen aka Jean Grey.

I also wouldn't mind to see Starkiller as TFU games are my favorite SW games, and Sam Witwer would be PERFECT!

I'm going be a little out there maybe, but I would like to see Captain/Admiral Paelleon. No idea who to play him though, he has been depicted kinda inconsistently over the years.

Even in the Heir to the Empire I pictured him as an older, heavyset guy, someone like a Ed Asner from 15 years ago. Connery look right, but he's basically a jerk and always comes across more like Sean Connery than the character he is supposed to be playing.

Side note. Just looking at head shots of older actors, Christopher walken would be an amazing imperial officer of some sort.
