Everyone gets a free reroll from Howlrunner, and she gets a free reroll from Predator (since she doesn't benefit from her own ability...). I know technically she's the leader of Obsidian Squadron...we'll just consider her "on loan".

Predator is good on two ships: Rexler Brath and Chewbacca.

That's about it.

I think predator helps the firesprays the most of any ship in the game.

Why? It can be used on normal attacks, rear attacks, cannon attacks, and warhead attacks, plus since the firespray dial doesn't have much green it's a better choice than ptl. Plus being a large ship you're more prone to action denial which doesn't affect predator.

X-Wings are a close second.

Most of the other ships are probably better off with ptl, neither, or a gunner.

It's also good on (at least) Wedge, Luke, Wes, every A-wing, Corran, Etahn, and Kyle.

Oops, I left off the Empire: Fett, Kath, Vader, Rhymer, and Jonus. I also left off the Wave 5 ships, of which I'm sure at least a few would appreciate an action-free reroll.

Any ship that wants an offensive boost and can't gain it through a second action or can't easily shed stress is someone who will like Predator.
