So... my girlfriend was going through some stuff from her roommate since she moved back to China, and found me a pokerchip case and suggested I should use it for Xwing... So I got it home, and spent about 3 hours perfecting the perfect case for tomorrows game night..
btw the other case is a cheap $5 case I got from walmart that appears made to stack acrylics perfectly 5 high... I like that word perfect right now...
So time to show off
Both Cases Side by side closed (encase you couldnt tell...)
the new case to the table meant to hold everything that I need for a tourny that cant go in my token box.

my token box

The reveal of the token box (damage deck is a custom sleeve that fits right on the asteroids (perfectly)

AND NOW! able to hold atleast 5 ships, more if I decided to get rid of my amazing medals (which just adds to the beauty of the case)

Ships are ready for battle in less then a minute, just remove the dial and the base is underneath; the pilot cards do not allow for both dial and base, so I had to double dial in a separate lonesome hole

a naked view. I can easily change the ship pods to accommodate different ships

I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of the first stage (you are looking at the top, I ripped the chip tray out and glued pluck cushions and popsical sticks to the top of the case, and added a black piece of foam to that which came with the case (I was able to tuck the corners into the cushions to give it a sealed look. then placed a pluck foam tray in the bottom portion, and used excess pluck material to make the case look profession

oh yeah, and here is another amazing goodie that was left in the move (I call it, the battle field of doom) Its a 35 inch by 35 inch mousepad style mat (just 1 inch from being tourny legal!)
