Building Mono-Sphere

By legolas18, in Strategy and deck-building

More and more I find myself exclusively building mono-sphere decks now that they're a viable option, mainly because they're easy to use and don't require a lot of planning. Maybe it's just because I'm lazy (more than likely), but do any of you mainly build mono-sphere now?

If I played more multiplayer, that's probably how I'd go. Sadly, I rarely get to play with anyone else, and if I do, it's usually just one other player, so dual sphere is generally better.

yep for multiplayer I can often do monospheres especially if I am building someone else's deck but otherwise I need a dual or tri sphere to handle all aspects of a quest if I'm playing solo.

Hmm. Guess I am just lazy. I just really enjoy having three resources open to me at all times instead of having them split.

I totally understand that. And since you're able to include the more expensive cards more easily, that helps make it slightly more viable but there still tends to be obvious holes in each sphere.

The only one I've really had success with as a mono-sphere deck right now is Spirit, but that's just because some of the spirit heroes are incredibly strong. (Caldara, Eowyn, Glorfindel, Frodo)

Outside of that, I actually usually play tri-sphere. Sometimes quad-sphere.
