I have been trying to decide what list to use for an upcoming tournament, and i have narrowed it down to 4, but i wanted to see which you would pick.

List 1:

4x Academy Pilot

Howlrunner

Bounty Hunter

List 2:

2x Alpha Squadron Pilot

2x Avenger Squadron Pilot

2x Academy Pilot

List 3:

3x Delta Squadron Pilot w/Ion Cannon

List 4:

2 Delta Squadron Pilot w/HLC

2x Obsidian Squadron Pilot

Of those, I'd choose List 4. If tweaks are permissible, I'd substitute Academy Pilots for Obsidian Squadron in List 4; guaranteed blocking will probably do more good for you than the pilot-skill boost. And if more major changes are something you'd consider, I'd swap Delta Squadron + Ion Cannon into list 1.
