I don't follow all the news about x-wing but maybe one of you can enlighten me. Was there or are there any plans for the proof of purchases that come with the models? I find it odd that the large and huge ships pops are punch outs. Seems to me like you would be able to redeem them somehow.

I remember the old school Kenner models where you could mail in pops to get the Han in storm trooper armor.

Anyone have info on this?

I got more than one figure using the old Kenner ones.

FFG has asked for the codes on the POPs in other games they made (i.e. Descent 2) when you request a figure replacement, piece fix, etc. Although, to be honest, they haven't been real consistent about it.

As a habit, I have always kept the proof of purchases so that I don't have any issue getting a replacement of something should it arise in the future.

Never even noticed. Are these Proofs of Purchase on the smaller ships as well? I threw out all my packaging and what not. Just want to know so I can keep my eye on them for new purchases.

The smaller ships have a pop on the sleeve that has the ships maneuvers printed on it. Kept one of each just in case

I've kept them all, whether cardboard or paper. Even for my extra dice. I'm trying to save up enough to redeem for a subforum.

I'm really hoping FFG doesn't release on online video game version where your POPs unlock ships. I'd end up playing it anyways and buying all my ships again. sigh.
