So, i have been trying to decide what list to bring to an upcoming tournament and i have narrowed it down to 4, but i wanted to know which one you guys would pick.

List 1:

4x Academy Pilot

Howlrunner

Bounty Hunter

List 2:

2x Alpha Squadron Pilot

2x Avenger Squadron Pilot

2x Academy Pilot

List 3:

3x Delta Squadron Pilot w/Ion Cannon

List 4:

2x Delta Squadron w/ Hlc

2x Obsidian Squadron Pilot

List 2 interests me the most, but I would ditch those 2 Academies and upgrade some ships or throw in a souped up Howlrunner.

That's pretty hard to do when one doesn't see "other copy" that you have have and what replies sent to.

If you want replies sent to the "other thread" I will suggest that you EDIT your initial post with this request AND include a LINK to that other thread.

My thoughts are that list 1 should be tried and true. List 2 may be a bit confusing. Either of the last two could be interesting as you try figuring out the Defender better with each of them having merits and potential problems.
