How do i become sanctioned and even have regionals in the area i live in i currently live in southern ca

and the closest regionals is 8 hours away and i have friends in las vegas and there is no listing for nevada to hold any regionals or events either.

You dont. Your store applies at the appropriate time for it and based on its merit relative to the other stores in your region, you will either get one or not.

Listen im new to this group and the game and that was a bit rude sir. I was trying find out on behalf of my local store due it being the only one in a remote town.

Nothing at all rude about that post. It was very clear and concise how FFG tourney scene works. Unless you are a store, in which case I believe you use the B2B tools to apply, but we the players (for the most part, there are a few other stores that post here) don't have access to the B2B stuff and can't help you with that.

You don't need to be a store to run sanctioned events. You can also do so through local cons. For Regionals and Championships you need to apply at the appropriate times when the announcements are made.

Just to be clear, there is zero chance that you will get to hold a regional event in your area this year. Regional locations were up for application MONTHS ago, and the locations were picked months ago. You can definitely throw your hat in the ring for next year though, but who knows if the structure will change or not.
