A ship with two cannon slots? It would be expensive as all getout, but who knows? HLC and Autoblaster? Could be very interesting. Ion cannon and HLC? Keep them at range 3 and facing the wrong way, then blast away with 4 dice?

Also, anyone have a guess as to any future cannons they might make?

Repeating Cannon - 4 attacks at 2 dice each, range 1 or 1-2. Turn crits to hits. Attack ends after three successful attacks, if that makes sense. Maybe the attack will occur at -2 PS because the cannon is spooling up.

Rapid Acquisition Cannon - Allows attacker to attack two different targets in one turn. 3 dice. Requires having Focus to use, does not expend it so it can be used on one of the attacks.

It depends. Would I be able to use both cannons per round due to some unmentioned title or upgrade? Because that would be AWESOME. DUAL HLC's BABY!!

I would go for ion and HLC probably. Sounds like a good combo to me.
