It shows in the Pic acrylic movement templates are shown but not a playmat. In the description of the prizes it mentions a playmat and not the movment templates?

I want that back pack

Any location known yet for Canada?

Ops

Nm

Was thinking nationals for some reason

It will be in the US

That sucks

Has anyone heard of places and dates in Canada for nationals?

I'm guessing templates for Top 4 (like the Regionals kit) and the mats are most likely custom made/provided by the organization/venue since FFG (to my knowledge) aren't making mats themselves (yet)

Confirmed by the TO from the UK Nationals (held in May)

UK loot was

Winner - Trophy and trip to Worlds w/bye (and a Boba Fett (J. Bulloch) signed oversized Solo/Boba card)

Top 2 - backpacks

Top 4 - maneuver templates

Top 8 - rulers

Top 16 - new target locks

And at last years Nationals they made custom playmats...

Hope that helps (man, they (FFG) really should do better proof reading on their posts)

I'm not really good at geography but I'm gonna take a stab at it, and say that Canada is in North America?

I corrected myself after realizing that's it's north America which means it'll likely be in the US

So there's some X-Wing news finally to shut some people up about how there's been none on the main page for weeks. Technically.

Basically every other FFG National Championship has a playmat (e.g. GoT, Netrunner, SWLCG, etc) as their Top 8 award. So it's probably a typo and should read "Templates/Rulers" instead. Although, I'd take a 3'x3' FFG gamemat over templates any day!

Yeah, it's a typo.

The X-Wing 2014 Regionals instruction sheet had references to Netrunner in it.

Copy/paste works best with a proof-reading or three.

Canadian National is happening Oct 25 in the GTA. Venue TBD. Firmer details available to be announced.

Top Eight: The top eight players each receive one North American Championship playmat.

What the what?

I wouldn't get your hopes up as it would seem that is a typo.

October 25th at Planet X in Mississauga is the Canadian Nationals for X-wing.

Im quite interested in that bag....

Dude, I saw the title had the word "Chapionship" instead of "Championship" and it made me imagine a competition in which people tried to be friendly, gentlemanly and British.

They've revised the description:

I'm confused. Are these prizes only for the North American National Championship or are they for the National Championship in general?
