So has anyone noticed the engines on the tie bomber look really weird on the homing missile card? I don't think I've ever seen a tie bomber look like this from the booty section before. Or am I wrong?
Tie bomber artwork on homing missiles (not a speculation thread)
Yeah, actually i have noticed that too.
Ok cuz to me it looks more like 2 jet engines instead of the traditional Star Wars esque tie engines.
Yeah, it looks really weird.
Yeah, it's pretty much just bad art from someone who didn't know what the back end of a TIE Bomber looks like.

I agree, makes you wonder what else he's got his grubby hands on. Possibly the outmanuever card? Cuz it looks like it should be the yt-2400 but as someone else on here mentioned it's just not quite right. Could be the same culprit!
I've seen this configuration before. In Empire at War.

Ya that's literally the only game I think that's portrayed it like that haha. Even on the scimitar pilot card it doesn't look like how they are showing it. Not to mention empire at war gave it blue engine glow. The homing missile card just looks like a jet engine!

Don't forget either that in EaW, imperial stuff blew up blue.
That never made sense to me. I loved it and it looked hella cool, but it made absolutely no sense at all.

Ya the graphics were cool especially in the expansion but... blue? Really? Haha

Blue explosions in space were weird to you? Was it the fact that they were blue or explosions in space?
Never noticed that before, but now it's seen it can not be unseen.

It's a very unnatural explosion color

Because heat, oxygen and gas suddenly disappears in space and doesn't exist- as well as concussive force and any wave of any type of energy.
Uh, right?
That can't be right...

What we mean is in all the Star Wars films let alone most sci fi space films ships or stations explode with yellow and orange and stuff but not blue. Obviously we're not talking from a scientific standpoint, this IS Star Wars after all.
Why even have the bomber? I mean I know they reuse artwork, but mechanically it says no Evade tokens can be spent. But the Bomber doesn't get Evade tokens… silly.

Didn't notice that either haha good point. Not too mention tie bombers weren't exactly the fastest most maneuverable ship so would you even really need a homing missile to destroy it. If you did you must have been a terrible shot haha.
Well, I suppose the Homing Missiles with their TL mod, and the Bombers with their lower evade, you could pretty well guarantee a great hit against one.
Stuff explodes in space. There is oxygen aboard the craft, right?
The unnatural thing is when debris rains down while in orbit, or heck, debris fields don't exist, and asteroid fields are so thinly populated that the odds of unsuccessfully navigating one while drunk/blind/dead is 3270 to 1!

So you can't fire Homing Missiles at something that doesn't have Evade tokens?
Hm, I'll have to remember that one.
Blue explosions have been used in sci-fi stuff for quite a while. Usually for coolness factor. Just look at EVE online.

In Mass Effect 3 after playing the trilogy for >150hrs you get to select Blue, Green or Red explosions. Man that was awesome (NOT).

They have to throw something in for the Achievement hunters... lol.

Sadly it was the original utterly crappy conclusion for the trilogy (generalized). Not an achievement. But that is offtopic alredy, sorry for that.
Speaking of bad art. Does the underside of the Interceptor on the Daredevil card look weird to you?
