Duty -> XP

By FreeXenon, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

I am creating a character and we are starting with 15 duty.

I would like to sacrifice it all for XP. Can I get 15 XP for 15 duty, or am I limited to 10 as per OggDudes' wonderful character generator?

nevermind.... :ph34r:

it is working now...

You can get 15. Though you're technically exchanging 10 D for 10 XP and then 5 D for 5 XP. So, for example, if you had 20 Duty at character creation, you could not exchange all for 20 XP, only 15 with 5 points of Duty left over.

good to know... thanks for the clarification.

Revachist7 is correct. To further touch on what he was saying, each item can only be taken once by reducing your duty.

I read that and I found it a little confusing... each individual item or one of each XP or credits.

Thanks for the clarification.

apologies, I wasn't very clear.

+5 XP option can only be chosen once.

+10 XP option can only be chosen once.

+1000 Credits option can only be chosen once.

+2500 Credits can only be chosen once.

so if you were allowed a starting duty of 30, you could theoretically reduce all of that duty for +15 XP and +3500 Credits, but you cannot reduce all 30 Duty for +30XP, the most you could take is +15XP.

You were clear the first time.

For me the book was not clear, so that means that I was not clear with my previous post. :o :D
