I didn't appreciate how nice a little ship this was until it came down to this guy with R2-D2 against my Boba Fett. Really really difficult to take down a 3agi ship that recovers a shield each turn. He matches a Firespray offensively. In retrospect I might have been able to joust and take advantage of Boba's banks, but I was afraid to go toe-to-toe with something that had me out diced.

Any E-Wing with R2-D2 is a big late game threat.

I usually put R2-D2 on my E-Wing. Etahn is just awesome, and I want him to stick around a bit longer, so R2 makes sense. Unless I stick him with Biggs. He's very helpful there, too.

R2 is just amazeballs.

I've had success with Corran Horn with the astro who lets you recover a shield by spending focus. On the turn Corran Horn can't attack just GTFO and spend the focus to heal. Most opponents foolishly ignore Horn on the turn he can't attack I have found.

This can work with the generics as well if you can't afford R2-D2. Overall the E-Wing is a solid ship and has been overlooked due to the Phantom and Z's this release. The sensors and atromech upgrades are two of the best slots and it has both. Along with a solid dial and great stats. Just have to pay the price.

R5P9 is how I run my corran also, its nice because I can 5 straight and still get the shield, not stuck with green maneuvers.
