Hi Guys,

The French national Championships were held last weekend in the medievil town of Parthenay during it's international games festival (F.L.I.P.)!

71 attendees for the qualifier on the first day produced the top 16 for the second day and at the end of that we had a Champion who will be heading over to the states for the world championships! So congrats to Jean-Cristophe “Icareane” Hu!

Interesting spread across the 16. That's what I like about this game. There's no one definitive "red-deck-wins" situation. Anything for the most part can compete. FFG is doing a great job of balancing the game. I hope they keep it up.

Agreed! Out of the 71 players their were only a handful of duplications and every model was present including the Tie Advanced and bomber!

Could be worse I guess, but right now, it could be better. In the top 16, there were 6 phantom builds, 6 falcon builds, and a couple of the previous top dog tie swarm. That's fairly skewed.

Do you have the elimination brackets for identifying player matchups?

Its the Z effect. They are cheap enough that adding a missile on them doesn't break the bank.

Its the Z effect. They are cheap enough that adding a missile on them doesn't break the bank.

This list was actually undeafeated in the qualifier and a lot of people had it as the favourite to win. It allows you a powerful alpha strike with that many missiles and it frequently one rounded falcons and other big targets before they could even get into the fight.
