No. Only one is allowed in Epic (3 of 5 Epic points) so unless you intend to regularly provide it to someone else for them to play with, don't bother (and if you do, why aren't they purchasing their own!?). Better to spend the money on more small ships, or keep it in the bank ready for the inevitable Imperial huge ship.

But, if you do get a second, put me down as another person interested in the four unique crew cards!

Get a transport with your cash if you desire another large ship. Transports can make great electronics warfare platforms when supported by a combat equipped CR90, they also take up all 5 of your Epic Points and a good chunk of your standard points, but leave enough room to take 2 or 3 (or more now we have Z95s) small escort ships.

Just wondering if anyone thinks getting a second Tantive is worthwhile... Thinking of running epic play with two to shake things up.
