Just wondering if anyone thinks getting a second Tantive is worthwhile... Thinking of running epic play with two to shake things up.

Officially, Rules wise, you can't. Tantive costs 3 epic points, and you only get 5 to spend. Nothing stopping you doing it at home or whatever, but for epic tournament play, it's not allowed.

I bought a (cheaper) one on EBay for a custom repaint, and to allow home games with big fleets.

You can outfit one to the gills with combat stuff, and the other one as a command ship. Don't try to do two of the same ships, lots of the required cards are unique. I mean you can, but the effectiveness is decreased, plus, why would you need all that firepower?

I am getting two too. Yeah it is awesome and if you have the cash go for it.

At least there isn't if you don't find yourself playing totally-casual games in which you go full epic. Given the relative rarity of epic games overall (in my experience, YMMV), the CR-90 may be a great white elephant.

(Hey, that goes along with the space cow and space whale imagery... except that whales are larger than elephants. But, it's clear that the Transport is whale-shaped, so I'm not .... nevvamind.)

I agree wholeheartedly. You obviously want to buy a second one, so go ahead and buy it

If you play like higher point epic game than 300 then you can field 2 or more. Maybe a 500 point team epic game on a much larger board.

I am currently using my CR90 Corvette as a proxy for the DP20...

I'm going to try to find the time to play test this version this week.

I meant to get the crippled side done some time today but got distracted.

We have played four games with the CR90 so I feel good about getting it right.

I was going to try as crew

• Tactician

• Mara Jade

• Rebel Captive

But I thought that was too specialized for a trial run.

So I'm going to go with

• Darth Vader

• Tactician

• Fleet Officer

Also not going to go with double concussion missiles,

You only need to if you want more ionization reactor or sensor teams

Two can legally fielded on the same side in Team Epic. I don't know why you would ever want to do that, and I wouldn't suggest it is a good idea but that is the only reason for owning 2.

It could be an intereing game, but too long, I hear that 1 game it tooks more tan 3 hours, so with two, it takes to much, grettings.
