A few Deckplans Lambda, YT-1930, Custom Ship

By Emperor Norton, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

When I get bored sometimes, I use Illustrator to make a simpler design of deckplans than you usually see, but one I like a lot.

I was doing the Lambda for AoR, and I thought some other people might be able to get a use out of it and a couple of other ones I've made.

You can download a pdf with them all here .

The first ship is the Lambda. I tried to include a bit more area to rest than most I've seen. 20 Passengers with no bunks is a bit crazy considering some travel distances. Still everyone will have to sleep in shifts, because there are only 8 bunks for the crew and passengers combined. Also the ladders on the port and starboard are to go down into the cargo and engineering crawlspaces.

Second is a custom ship I made for a game. Its meant to be a long range scout ship. Large reliable engines that you can easily work on in the middle of nowhere. For stats you can use the YV-560 from Enter the Unknown but reduce the passengers to 3 and give it a boost die to all Mechanics checks since it was very easy to work on with everything accessible. Or don't. I'm not your mother. Use it for whatever :P .

The final one is the YT-1930. Not much to say here.

Great work on these, thank you very much for sharing these with the gaming community

I teally like these deckplans. Any chance oc you doing more? I know I'm trying to find good deckplans for the citadel cruiset as well as the gozanti cruiser (imperial refit from the new rebels preferred), the latter ships size is in contention.. I think it should be around 80m long, most put it at 40.

Very very nice. Simple, but effective, just what this system likes.

I'll probably do more as the mood strikes me (and when I'm not swamped with work, I've been doing 60-70 hour work weeks lately because of a big project, the only way I got the Lambda done was that it was small).

The Gozanti might be interesting. I've never tried to do anything in the 80m range, I've done a few ships (before I started doing them in Illustrator) in the 40-50m range. I'd want to find a solid source on its length before I start though.

Citadel is unfortunately more boring (granted the Lambda was boring as well, since it was effectively a box) but I'll consider it.

(Also, for anyone trying to judge scale, I kind of forgot to put one on there. The outline of the top bunk is 2m, and all of them are in scale with each other.)

I like the look for RPG use. They are clear for using blown up on a table with minis are as a quick reference. Some are actually hard to read when you have to peer at it for a while to figure out what is a corridor and what is not. Yours don't have that problem at all and the symbols for chairs, tables, etc are recoganizable.

Yeah, using Illustrator also means they infinitely scale. I need to make a key at some point. some things aren't as easily recognizable (the storage cabinets for instance, like the ones in the "neck" of the lambda on either side of the ramp. (There are two kinds of storage cabinets in the set. I'm not sure how I ended up with that. I think originally one was supposed to be more wardroby doored style, and the other was drawers and such)).

These would work well with my projector, thanks! I too would like to see more of them.
