Rebellion Day
Already poked my FLGS. I might be convinced to run some games for them.
I have voluntered as well to run games at my FLGS's
Just called the Game Matrix in Tacoma, and they didn't have it on their calendar yet but would "look into it," so if anyone in the 253 sees this, call them and bug them ![]()
AFAIK some of the staff already run an AoR game there, so it might be an easy sell!
If anyone does this in the Greater KC area or even at that crappy university town out west of there
, let me know.
Eta: Ah crap, I just realized this is on my wife's birthday. I wouldn't want Wookie Rage Day to visit my home on Sept. 14th.

You take the north end and I'll take the south end... I already called Olympic C&C and have them looking into it.
i'm hoping that for those of us who don't get out on Rebellion Day to try our hands at this will not have to wait too long for the downloadable pdf version, much like we got with the Free RPG day download.

Agreed, soon after, like the 14th........@ midnight......
I'll have to mention this to my local hobby store... Would definitely bring in some customers, considering how popular Star Wars is (any kid that watched the Clone Wars or who grew up on Star Wars would have a blast).

I do hope they release this as a PDF!
I'd love to run a game at Dragon's Lair here in Austin!
Hmmm, this is perfect timing for a small local convention I attend. I've already gotten in touch with the organizer and vendor vendor there about getting a kit for the con.
Looking to try and run this at my LGS. Despite the fact they have not gotten the AoR core book for me. I have had some contact with them that people were interested in playing the RPG
I put the word in at The Comics Club in Brandon, Fl. They're going to try and get it and I'll run it.
I am SO excited for this adventure. More adventure-time goodness from Star Wars RPG legend Sterling Hershey.
For those who don't know, Sterling is the only writer to have worked on the Star Wars RPG in all its major iterations at WEG, WOTC, and FFG. He also wrote the Beyond the Rim adventure. Looking forward to seeing what he has put together for this!
Will we be able to get this adventure on its own w/o having to goto a Rebellion day or is it just for this event and we cannot do it outside at all??
No one knows at this point. I do know that the Free RPG Day adventure, which had similar early restrictions, did eventually end up online. So that would seem to be a positive sign, but it is anyone's guess at this point.
I imagine that they will eventually put it out on PDF since months ago FFG hinted that there will be 3 interconnected adventures for AoR that you can string together. This is the 2nd of the three, so they wouldn't make this one completely exclusive if it intend to fit into a larger campaign.
I am wanting to run this event either at Fantasy Flight Games Event Center or Village Games in Anoka, MN. Now all I have to do is pull some strings to be the GM.
I'm going to be talking w/ the owner at the Game Keep in Nashville TN. Since I"m already running Edge on Sundays, I'm sure he'll be glad to add it.

I'm pretty sure all three have already been released. Operation: Shell Game from the Age of Rebellion Beta, Perlemian Haul, from the Age of Rebellion Core Rulebook, and Dead in the Water, from the Age of Rebellion GM kit. The GM kit has suggestions for stringing those three adventures together, with an option for including the modules from the Age of Rebellion Beginner Game and its follow-up adventure.
How can someone get their hands on Operation: Shell Game if they didn't buy Beta book?
I really hope they will post this Rebellion day adventure as PDF.

Right now, the only way to get Operation: Shell Game (short of piracy) is to buy the beta book. For the time being, though, it's not hard to get your hands on a copy of the beta. I just checked Ebay, and there's a glut of them available for less than cover price- at least one is going for as low as $5.
Edit: It looks like there are also some going for about $10 on Amazon.

Good catch. I misinterpreted the article.
I volunteered to run it at our local store if he didn't already have someone to do it. Haven't heard back from him yet though.
