I guess id better get around to preordering a third. Gonna be all about the chandraan refits.
Has it been confirmed whether there are 2 or 3 in the box?
No. Everybody is guessing at this time.

Since wave 4 ships took 6 weeks once it was put on the boat, it look like first week of Sept. to be in the stores (right at the start of football season).....

I suspect I'll need 6.
The last screenshot of the pack showed two, I believe, and I don't think they will have a third.
What was the dispensation of cards in Imperial Aces like? Was there 3 copies of anything?

The card fan in the preview article shows 2 face up and then a face down missile card right next to them. That means aces either has 3 refits or it includes a single copy of a different missile upgrade.
Hope it's a 3rd Refit, but could also be a 3rd copy of Proton Rockets maybe?
A third Proton Rockets would make more sense and be a nod towards the TIE Advanced.

They seem to always put the cards in the fan in order. Duplicate cards are always next to each other, so I doubt it us a third proton rocket.
My bet is that it us, in fact, a third chardaan. The very nature of the card is to correct a costing error so it makes sense that they would want to make it as easy as possible for players to get the number they need without undue burden.
I still maintain that it is less costing error, more "hey, this has to compete with the Z-95 now".
Wave 4 took seven weeks from the time its status changed to "on the boat" to store shelves. If Rebel Aces follows suit it'll probably be in our greedy little hands the first week of September.
So, at three threads a week times seven weeks, I calculate somewhere in the neighborhood of 21 Cubanboy threads ahead of us.
I figure it's more likely to be August since we are expecting Wave V in September. Also they possibly want them for Gencon in August so they are probably just late on updating the page.
FFG should invest in a 3D printer. They could just print everything here in the US and save a ton of money.
If that would actually save them money, I imagine that that's what they would be doing. I'm pretty sure that the 'printing' that they're doing is not 3d printing. It seems to me that 3d printing is not particularly cost effective on mass production. Then there's the human labor of painting the models, which is where China comes in.
So, I imagine that when they say 'printer' they're referring to the cards; not the models.
But I might be wrong.
Nope you are correct. One of my friends owns his own 28MM miniatures companies and this is what he does to produce his big tanks and the like.
