Clue Tokens, Skills, and Movement

Please tell me if I have this corret.

Skill cards that give you a plus one to a skill, like Lore +1, when used with clue tokens give you two instead of one for skill checks. Now, does the extra token through skill cards go to checks that use that skill, but are not called that particular skill's check. Like Combat Check or Spell Check?

If you are moved from one location to another can you pick up the clue token there, as in(paraphrasing) "If you end your movement in a location you may pick up the clue token(s), but only if you end your movement there.

And if you enter a location with a gate you have to fight any monsters there because you end your movement there, but you you can not pick up the clue tokens there, and are instead sucked through the gate. However you can pick up clue tokens in a location after entering back to to the Arkham location from the other world.

Also ALL clue tokens are removed from a location when a gate appears there. If a location has a gate, and a clue token appears there, it stays there.

And one other thing, retainers and blessings are not rolled on the turn immediately after they come into play correct? The player gets one turn without having to roll to see if it dissapears. Like a rumour states you do not roll until the following turn and there after.

Yes, the lore skill will help your spell check.

Yes, you will have to fight or evade all monsters there. But there are never clues on a location with a gate.

Incorrect. You can't have clues on locations with a gate.

You can only pick up Clues when you end your movement during the movement phase at a location. So no Clues if you get an "move to any location in Arkham".

Blessings, Curses, Retainers, and Bank Loans aren't rolled the first turn you have them. So if an encounter gives you another curse, it replaces the curse you have; which means you won't roll for it next upkeep (whether you want to or not :-P).

Gates replace the location so there are no clues on gates ever.
