Does this also apply to Etahn's own attacks on the target? (He can upgrade one of his hits to a crit) Or just other attackers who are shooting at a target in his arc at Range 1-3?
I think it does from my reading but wanted to check what other peoples interpretation is as a mate and I played him the other day and man, it sure is powerful! 
Yes, it works on himself, and yes, it is incredibly powerful... provided you can get the crit through, anyway.
We already caught Mareek Stele, several times, with a stolen ship in the hangar trying to defect to the rebellion.

Try out Etahn w/ Stealth Device, Sensor Jammer, & Predator... and pair him with two Blues each with HLC.
I just faced him yesterday in close proximity to a CR-90 carrying Jan Dononna. Plus we rolled a fair amount of natural crits on both sides. We went through the damage deck twice and I think about 1/3 was dealt as crits.

I had Corran Horn + FCS + Marksmanship, Etahn + PTL + R2 + Hull Upgrade, and Cracken + Swarm Tactics...look what I did to my poor friend! Tons of cries, all at PS8!

I'm messing. Honestly the list needs work, hence why I'm not bringing it to S&C or MonStore/Labyrinth, and honestly the guy I played was inexperienced at the Phantom.
