Sub-plots for obsession obligations

Well this worked so wonderfully last time ( http://community.fantasyflightgames.com/index.php?/topic/110902-sub-plots-for-addiction-obligations/ ), I figured I'd reach out again. I really like the idea of having sub-plots for all the obligations my party might roll each session, as opposed to simply "you are thinking about it take some strain" which I've heard GMs do.

One of my characters is a Klatooinian who took the Obsession obligation in regards to the Klatooinian-Hutt contract (details: https://trouble-on-kwenn-station.obsidianportal.com/characters/klatooinian ). There is a major character in the story that is a Hutt, but they may not meet him for a couple sessions. As far as the Hutt is concerned (at least the first few times they will meet) the PCs are little more than messenger boys/footsoldiers. Any ideas on how I can insert his obligation into a session if I roll it in the form of a sub-plot or mini-encounter, either pre or post meeting of the Hutt character?

  1. There are several copies of the Treaty in the possession of several Hutts. What is he willing to do to get a look at one? Maybe even break in?

Maybe he tries to rally other members of races that are subservient to the Hutts to his ideology which in turn could create trouble for the Hutt that controls Kwenn Station... Dock workers could strike, seriously hindering the flow of drugs & other illicit trade that goes through the station. Hired guns previously loyal to the Hutt could rise against him & instigate riots on the station. What would the Hutt or The Duke do to try & so this happening & also would The Douches, seeing a chance to increase her power on the station, step in to aid Mar'Tok.

Liking it. I may actually be able to integrate that in with my plot without a ton of trouble... you guys keep giving me gold. Thanks!

Douches =/= Duchess.

Definitely thinking of adding some sort of small faction of Klatooinian/others that are on Kwenn and Nimban, looking to take the station over and otherwise hurt Adda's business so as to bankrupt Adda by taking out his largest sources of income. It would be easy based on what I have so far to say Adda has made a rookie mistake and expanded too quickly, not having enough capital around to survive a large drop in income without horrible consequences. Would provide enough little sub-plot items to keep it going throughout a campaign for sure.

Haha... Yeah auto-correct that's what did it! Gotta wonder what it's thinking when it's first suggestion for a noble title is the plural for shower in French I have seen it do worse tho!
