As a PC, I assume my character is eligible for critical hits - even if it is a Tau.
I assume in this case it is just a fluff-matter of renaming it.
Thoughts?

Furious Precise Blow of the Rising Sun Attack?
Something something greater good stuff.
But what are your thoughts on whether or not they should have them?
My GM was wondering if the rules for RF change due to the fact that I'm playing a Tau.
Personally Tau should keep the RF if they believe in the greater good. Because to them the Greater Good is like the emperor. Can't say much because I've never heard of someone playing a Tau. Does it work?
Calling FDS.
Anyone who can figure it out gets a prize.

Tau have Fate Points. Per RAW, that means they benefit from Righteous Fury, same as any other player character.
My thoughts as well.
Self-Righteous Fury?
Grorious Dispray!

Not in my campaigns. Xenos and heretics do not benefit from righteous fury. That's npc's and pc's.

What about Untouchables?
Please just name it "Tatsumaki senpuu kyaku".

No untouchables in my campaigns either. So, a non-issue.
That's one way to keep your players on the straight and narrow, I guess
Wait, Tau PCs?
Is that a thing?
Other than the Kroot, of course.
It's worth noting that Righteous Fury exists in Black Crusade, a system about playing nothing but heretics and traitors, albeit under a different name better befitting the theme ('Zealous Hatred'). Of course, Zealous Hatred is a different mechanic from Rogue Trader/Dark Heresy Righteous Fury (it's no longer about exploding 1d10s), but it's identical to how Righteous Fury was implemented subsequently in Only War and from what I've been told the DH 2.0 beta.
It's pretty silly that they felt the need to justify critical hits as a manifestation of faith magic (though the Missionary would be slightly less **** if he had a better shot of scoring it) - I expect it was only a, uh, linguistic flourish or something the first time around.
In Only War, all NPCs can hit righteous fury.
Rosvo1: A recent supplement has been released with (barely functioning) rules for Tau PCs. It is absolutely abhorrent in every way, of course, and unless you use all the latest sourcebooks (in which case you can never be forgiven) without restraint, it is WTFBBQ levels of crazy.
Edited by MagellanOn the upside, you can use riptides to suplex Hive Tyrants.
Indeed, especially if you're an up and coming heretek with actual melee skills on your side.
