Is there much difference between the Black Industry and the FFG one?

I have the BI version and want to know if I need to get the FFG one instead.

Yes. They're very different indeed.

The BI version is essentially a roundup of various things from the Eisenhorn and Ravenor novels, whilst the FFG version is a players manual focussing on the Calixs sector, the worlds and armaments commonly found within it.

The short answer is sort of. The FFG has the Errata 2.0 already implemented, if I recall correctly. And color pictures. Ooh, yay! Color artwork for the win.

As someone who owns both the BI and FFG prints, I do recommend the FFG for a couple of reasons.

1. Implemented most of the Errata.
2. Hardcover for added durability.
3. The Emperor says so.
4. Yay! Colored Artwork
