Hey Nick, We have a ton of gaming goats out by me but I rarely go to them for a few reasons, but wondering does your Goat use larger tables that can hold the 3' x 3' maps? I am going to try to convince the guys up here to get some extenders to hold our regulation size mats.

I think a Super Bye is also a 150 MoV...Alex Davy told me.
First i think it Must 200, but it is to strong i think.
Xwingtoman ran the tournament, he really does know what he's talking about. Ian, Alex and Frank decided (I concurred, it was the four of us at a table while I was setting up) that morning that a super-bye should be a full MoV win. It really should be, it's a prize, not something that should put you at a disadvantage over someone that had a 'perfect' round.
IL had 5 of the top 10 spots. Nick, Dave, Dom, Myself (Tyler), and Pasquale!

The "Super Bye" is the real reward for winning a regional tournament. Full point and full MOV is very important and should be the reward. I will put this out here now. If you have questions or concerns how the tournament went contact me with your issues, complaints, and even positive things we did. Other than a few minor corrections we only had one major snafu which was the Saturday Round 3 where I had to repair the round due to player drops being marked wrong, then two players dropping in between pairings and not telling anyone. Beyond that, there wasn't any other major issues that I know of. This is a tough tournament to run. With the con going on each day, the amount of drops was hard to keep up with at times. Like I said though, if you have any comments, please email me at [email protected]. I will take the time to answer all of the emails.

Corran Yes they have what I think are actually Ikea Tables but don't quote me on that. they are just over 3ft wide and close to 9ft long. You can almost fit 3 full mats on each of them. We typically only play with two mats per table so that there is room for cards, templates etc.
There are pictures on their facebook page (link above) which should show them fairly well
Any information on the Italy's national ? Seems like we are ont the dark here. I tried to check some of their forums (i can understand some italian) but i didn't find anything on player builds.
I'm trying to gather information about the top lists of Italian national.
We were 27 players, there were 5 rounds without cut, the winning list was 3x bounty hunters.

Yeah, talk about bizarre...besides the general weirdness, APTs make zero sense on Horton. I don't know why that sticks out to me more than anything else, maybe it was the rookie that had them instead and Horton had regular torps? The Blaster Turret makes some kind of sense, when shooting it at range 2 he gets to reroll his blanks with it, but otherwise...just bizarre.

The safest way is to re-post and make changes in a different color like blue , but you could just PM me anytime you update it. Otherwise I'll try and keep an eye on it over the next few days, but eventually it will get buried several pages back and I won't be checking it.

Went 3-2 (15) great matches except for my self inflicted brainfarts against Piqsid. Great matches all day, cheers to Rick on the win a class act an worthy champion. A big a$$ thanks to Jeff B. who bailed me out after I woke up at 9:50 and realized I had 9 minutes to get to hall. Jeff graciously loaned me his Airen card until my card box caught up in match two, that good karma helped carry his double YT to the final. Probably not a good idea rolling into rack at 04:30hrs before a final methinks, oh well it's GenCon. Let's not also forget Jeff's display of sportsmanship in the final when Rick neglected to recloak, top shelf class.
Hope to see many of you in Hamilton in Oct at the CA national.

#2 Jeff has been the only person I have lost to in an x-wing tournament, so congrats to him. Great guy to play against.
I have great news! Stuart Wilson from FFG has scanned in 100% of the squad lists and emailed them to me, from the GenCon United States Nationals tournament! We don't have all the squads broken down yet, but we are working on it.
Xwingtoman has also provided the final rankings, so we will have a full report!
Unrelated, the Australian National Championship will be starting in about 6 hours, at 9am local time. I was bad and only just remembered to email them to request results! So if you are attending please remind them that we would love to get their full results. I sent an email to [email protected], but I don't have the contact info for the TO.
