Nice podcast guys. I love the Vessary build you mention. Here's my vessery build.
Vessery + HLC + A Rush ( Nice for those red turns )
Gamma + x2 Flechette + failsafe
OGP + FCS + Weapon Engineer + Gunner + ST-321
I found this squad to be a lot of fun.
Do you have a list of just the X-Wing shows?
It was mentioned in there last episode. But what I have is
Kessel Run
Nova Squadron
Scum and Villiany
Unofficial X wing podcast
Winging it
Star Wars miniatures (now defunct)
Sabbac table (they do all sorts of sw games not limited to x wing)
X factor (silent since wave 3 I believe)
Great show once again guys! And that is NOVA Squadron Radio, found here:
www.novasquadronradio.com
Thanks!
Ion Cannon and Tactician makes for a very nasty crowd-controlling Alabaster Disaster. ![]()

I've been toying with throwing ion cannon + tactician + gunner on a shuttle. If the ion misses, they're double stressed. And never again will someone, upon seeing the first attack from my gunnered ship will do only 1 damage, choose to just take it.
Thanks for all the compliments, we certainly enjoy doing our show and many plans for the future (video reports, live shows) once our schedules calm way, way down. Also if any of you are interested in writing blog articles for X-wing content (or 40k if you also play that), send an e-mail to us at [email protected].
Lastly, The Kessel Run may only be 9 (or twelve depending on who you ask) in, but at the beginning of August, we will be releasing our 100th episode for The Heroic 28s. The H28 show may be 40k centric, but episode 100 will find drunken Chumby and Cowboy Kenny getting into all sorts of shenanigans, a pre-recorded live Cards Against Humanity, and many more laughs!
I was working while listening to the podcast and it was a great way to pass the day. Any chance that someone could post the builds mentioned in today's podcast if they can remember what they were? I enjoyed it but do not have time to listen to the episode again, and I'm sure somebody here has a better memory than me.
Well, here's a couple:
Don't Mess with the Vess
Vessery w/ HLC, Outmaneuver
Omicron w/ ST-321, engine upgrade, weapons engineer, gunner, fire control
Night Beast w/ targeting computer
(Also can slot in Backstabber or Dark Curse)
Kath's Red Rage
Kath w/ expert handling, seismic, engine upgrade, rebel captive
2x Royal Guard w/ PTL
I've been doing so much second guessing this past week I can barely keep it all straight
Edited by ChumbalayaCan't wait for Saturday. Surprised a phantom didn't make your list.
Oh yeah, Turd Ferguson is indeed an amazing pilot. Sadly, I always want to run Soontir Fel after reading the X-Wing comics.
The list I'm in love with
Echo - Vet instincts, Advanced cloaking device
Turr Fennir - Vet Insticts
Royal Guard - Push the Limit
Obsidian Squadron

A lot of us here that are all about X-WING & EPIC are former 40K players. We get your humor and like it.
MORE X-WING if you please sir.

I agree, MORE X-WING!
And I'm not running a Phantom because I want to be a unique and special snowflake, as I imagine I'll be seeing them every other table at Regionals. Otherwise, the Phantom slots right in with my WINterceptors as fun on a bun.
While Phantoms will be everywhere, so will the double falcon list to counter punch those Phantoms in the junk.
Not to mention, Soontir Fel I have found is REALLY hard to shake with a Phantom!
