Anyone know much about it, or who 'Desmond' is?

I can tell you that the monster's associated with this co-op are:

Goblin Archers, Ettins, Merriods, and Cave Spiders

I got the last one on Ebay. I wonder if they'll ever release solo rules outside of 'games nights'.

Or if these are a dry run for a cooperative Descent. A lot of people seem to be clamouring for it.

I don't really understand the push for cooperative Descent. In my mind, one of the most interesting aspects of the game is its asymmetrical competition.

If I want to play a cooperative fantasy game, plenty of those exist, as do symmetrical competitive games.

FFG has stated their intent several times to release these co-ops to the public sometime before the end of the year.

To be fair, I am uncertain as to whether or not they ever said it was this year

Nature's Ire was announced a few weeks ago.

I think they also said there will be some co-op play at GenCon (along with Manor of Ravens). I wouldn't be surprised if they had information on releasing the co-op stuff to the public at that time, too.

Has anyone had a chance to try Nature's Ire? My FLGS has an upcoming game night involving this scenario, and I was curious as to opinions about this expansion.
