Hey all. I was repainting an x-wing, and I wanted to find a color that worked well.
Not sure what to use. I want them to be about the same base coat as what comes with the original so they don't look too out of place with my other ships. I don't want to paint them all.
If anyone has found a good match, plz let me know. Thanks.
Well, the good thing is that no two X-wings (or any other Rebel ships for that matter) look alike due to the rag-tag nature of the Alliance.
That being said, the color FF used for their X-wings is a warm beige color (which is not exactly screen accurate), so something like Tamiya Deck Tan or Buff might get you close. If you want something a little more screen accurate, try Tamiya Sky Grey or Sky Grey + Flat White.
