I understand it's cool to hate the prequels but seriously, I love episodes 1 and 3. 2 had the worst problems. Sure Jar Jar sucked, but the rest of it was awesome. (Pod Racing, Darth Maul. Qui Gon Jinn is my all time favorite prequel character and one of my all time favorite characters besides Han/Chewi. Obi-Wan is so badass in the prequels,)

The EU is essentially Star Wars fan fiction which retcons all kinds of things that needed no explanation (Darth Vader's Glove being a mandalorian iron gauntlet with an ancient sith amulet. We all saw Darth block the blaster and were just like, wow, Darth V is a badass.) or cause force users too seem absolutely absurd (Dorsk 81 pushing SEVENTEEN STAR DESTROYERS out of the system). So yeah, Episode 1 didn't need to talk about midichlorians, but at least it was GL doing it, and not some random writer.

So while I think it would be cool to see some more ships coming, no matter where they were from. I would hope that the black suns were only on the Imperial Side with some sweet Star Vipers, Shadows of The Empire Style.

now to the clone wars hate and prequel movies i was born 1992 the first star wars movie i saw as a child in a cinema was episode 1 and i was amazed and that turned me into a star wars fan not nerd or anythin just fan, i conteniued to watch the other episodes 2-6 aswell. and like the DVD collection in ma shelf. clone wars wasnt bad either. i loved the fire fights in clone wars and the light saber duels episode 1-3 gave us instead of this episode 4 swush swush. ;P.

sure it got better with ep5 and 6 but still dont get the hate against other star wars content other then the original trilogy.

Yeah I watched all of them last night and he is a freaking master at intelligent comedy. When I saw fat ass old GL wobbling around during the filming... and the excellent actors looking at him like they wanted to smack his stupid face, because they knew he was not helping them at all in their task to try and make a film like the original trilogy.

I had never seen any of that pathetic behind the scenes stuff because I do not own the DVD's.

I was just like... F#*@! The crew look like they are ashamed... no really they just yes-man GL like wage slaves.

I was shocked by that. There was a note keeper girl off to the left of GL and while he blubbed about his miserable poetry of connection to the original series, it looked like she wanted to cry or run back to her parents and beg them to let her move back in her old bedroom.

Let's not be naive here. There is definitely power creep. Now I think in most cases we will all agree that balancing/creep is needed in some areas. But really? Keyan isn't balancing anything broken. And I'm sure that FFG may even have intended to create some imbalance early so they can create more powerful fixes down the line (thus incentivizing the purchase of later releases).

Power creep exists. Power creep is going to exist in any format we see this game take. FFG does a good job at making it a slow crawl. That is all. Personally, I would prefer three factions with creep than two factions with creep - since it's a given...

Making things that are good does not necessarily mean powercreep. As good as Keyan is, I still fail to see where he creates a new bar for power.

My money's on the second, BS/ZC are significantly more niche than the BH stuff, which at least has in-movie characters backing it up.

Yeah that is why I included Hutt ships in my initial posting. I expect all sorts of Pirate and Cartel stuff to be in the new faction.
