I'm all for this, but is this the best way to get FFG's attention? Do they check over the forums looking at our ideas and replies?

I messaged a forum admin to see if they can support our request.

Anyone mention it at Gencon? haha... doubtful im guessing everyone was aweing and ouwing over the new faction! =)

The problem is that there are so many threads, this one gets buried before anyone at FFG will even see it. But I agree that more subfora/subforums are needed. One of the things that keeps me interested in a game is the community, but the post load is so heavy in X-Wing that I'm overwhelmed. Not to mention I can never find what I'm looking for.

yep.. this post gets buried within a few hours though everyone is actuaully doing a decent job of keeping it alive, i started this a month or two ago and it's still kicking!. I did message a forum admin w/ the link to this post. Hopefully he can either help us or point us in the right direction. Or his inbox is so filled with spam and other odd messages that it will never be seen! Can't blame em if that is the case.

Another vote for a repaint subforum here. For a miniatures game I think this is every bit as necessary and appropriate as a battle report or rules clarification subforum.

I respect that FFG is deliberate about the decision but it's something many of us are itching for. The tourney rules state that repaints are encouraged; having one place to share this awesomely creative work would be huge encouragement.

And also a list forum, if only to keep it away from the general stuff, because there are so many!

All the programming ideas are nice, but im pretty sure FFG is limited to the possibilities of the forum software, with every plugin needing to be tested properly.

I've tried PM'ing moderators in the past without success.

You forgot the petitions subforum.

Custom sub forum would be nice for mods/repaints/homebrew. Other than that I think we're ok if we could just get a couple threads stickied in each forum we already have.

Now that the mods are active and doing good work if we can just get a few less OT topics (and rebuttal topics to OT topics) the forums are in decent shape. Stickies and one more subforum (and a dislike button) would go a long way to polish this place we call home.
