If memory serves, movement templates can go outside the play area so long as the final position of the piece stays inside. Is that the same for decloaking? E.g. Barrel rolling off mat, then doing say a 3 bank back into the mat?
Page 17 of the rule book states that : a ship executes a maneuver that causes any part
of its base to go outside the play area it's considered destroyed.
In one of the FAQs on bumping though it states final position : If any part of the ship’s base in its final position (after moving backward) is outside the play area, then the ship has fled the battlefield.
