Force and Destiny at Comic Con?

By Orca813, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

Hey all,

I'm relatively new to the game, and missed out on the betas, but I was hoping to get in on the Force and Destiny beta.

However, I am unable to get to Gen Con due to expense, and people have said that the beta books first became available there.

I am able to get to San Diego Comic Con in a couple of weeks, though, and I notice that Fantasy Flight will be there as part of the Lucasfilm pavilion. I know they're going to probably be hyping the new card game and the X-Wing game, but does anyone know if there's a chance the Force and Destiny beta books will be available there?

Anyway, I'm loving this game so far, but I would really like to get a glimpse of the way the Force-users will be played.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Where did you read the information? You could probably just email customer service and they would tell you what their presence is going to be.

Doubt it.

If they were going to have copies of the F&D Beta at SDCC, they would have announced it by now.

Plus, as you said AoR Beta got released at GenCon, so odds are good that the F&D Beta will be released at GenCon as well, since that's the "Big Event" in gaming circles, and where a number of other RPG and gaming-related companies make their big announcements.
