Have some ideas of variations by replacing RGP with Backstabber to free up 6 points for things like Gunner on Yorr or stealth on Backstabber...

Fett would be able to be placed just about anywhere on the board to counter the phantom or other highly manoeuvrable ships. Captain Yorr to take some stress from opponent stress giving ships/mods as well as potentially give a bit too, the EU on it also keeps it in the game. The RGP (or alternative) can flank/mop up damaged ships and be a bit of a thorn in the opponent's side.

Pretty solid list.

  • i think dropping Yorr to an omicron and adding advanced sensors is worth considering. The added mobility is probably worth it over the extra 2PS and stress sharing but thats just my initial thoughts.
  • advanced sensors also gives ur shuttle the ability to block a bit more effectively as well as 1 bank boost then 2 red turn in the same turn which is going to allow you to line up ur firing arc a turn faster.
  • i know navigator on fett is amazing but im leaning towards another tactician on fett instead of navigator because giving a ship stress every time u fire seems like a great deal for 2pts and u get to shoot out the rear arc :)
  • I really rate the SHUTTLE plus FIRESPRAY in the same squad, its really a matter of personal taste and play style what other ships u pad out ur list with.

i played versus Han Shoots First (he had Luke and PTL on Han, Wedge and a Headhunter) - not an optimal list imo but still pretty strong. I was impressed with that imperial squad. its ability to dish out stress is really good. Sensor Jammer saved my Phantom, such a powerful defensive card and well worth the 4pts on a ship as fragile as the Phantom. That Phantom with ACD takes some getting used to, especially with Echo's 2 bank trick when he uncloaks - its crazy how much ground u can cover and then u still get an action which could be a conventional barrel roll!
