Hilarious Session

So a few days ago, a group of friends decided to spend an evening doing the followup to the Beginner box. My wife was running the game for us, and I just had to explain the narrative mess that I got her into.

I am playing tendaar, and the first part of this adventure didn't really have anything much for my character to do so I was randomly asking to repair vehicle and stuff just killing time. What I found out is that my character is spectacular at failing in a glorious way. Every roll i made that night had 1-2 triumphs that taxed my wife ability to think of ways to give me great bonuses while still failing the repair rolls.

While trying to repair an AT-ST I managed to get 2 triumphs but still failed the roll. By this point my wife was dumbfounded, and her solution to the situation was that I messed up the repair so bad that the AT-ST exploded. However, I noticed that it was going to blow with enough time to get a camera set up to get a slo-mo picture of me walking away from an explosion like a badass, and after the explosion i was left with a large pile of pristeen spare parts that would help in any future repairs. It makes no sense, but after so many rolls with triumphs she thought I deserved to have a little bit of wacky fun.

Later I try to disable the blocks on the Lambda Shuttle I previously put in place and I failed but rolled multiple triumphs again while still failing. She at this point says I introduced a computer virus into the system that blocks out the lambda shuttle but disables all the computer security in the base so I have unlimited access to all the data.

The session got very silly, but we all had a blast which I guess is the main point of the game.

How do you report that to the higher ups?Uhh sir I found some intel by accident.

In the last session of a group I had at school for EotE, I'd decided that since this was the last time, that all the players might a well die. So, I watched with glee as they struggled to keep their ship from crashing into a molten slag planet, then watched as they tried to escape their ship sinking into the lava, then watched as they made up countless desperate attempts to survive. In the end, only two of the 6+ members survived, and in the only follow up I had with them (they come to my other games, so in the wait time before everyone showed up we played out what happened next) one of them lost an eye to nuclear radiation.

I feel sinister.
