I've been looking into ship costs myself and found the the fighters typically have a 7-9 point difference between the lowest PS pilot and the highest. However, in the case of the Firespray and the Lambda shuttle they both have only a 6 point difference between the generic and the highest PS pilot. The YT-1300 does not provide any useful data here due to its stats changing, but I would assume that the VT-49's generic pilot probably will not be "cheaper" than the firespray or shuttle, and cost at least 40 points. if they broke the trend it would still probably be at least 38 points.
Assume 29 to 30 for the Outrider, meaning 36 to 37 for a real minimum because running them without HLC is likely not happening. The Decimator should be about 40 given the minimum PS 3, but could be 39. That means+ at most 2 in a 100 point game. Like others said. 1 of each is probably fine. I may try to get a second Outrider eventually.
