I have been asked by a local game store to set up and run a league/game night for xwing. I am not wanting to make this super competative like a tournament.Even tho I want to see the store sell product I am also afraid of it turning into a money/arms race. My thoughts on what to do is the following:

For example we have 10 players, the league will run 10 weeks alternating between what they call epic and tournament play. Week one will be epic play which will be a special scenerio/game for all that show to play, ex: huge dogfight, escort the transport ect. points are based on participation and success of mission. You will also recieve the name of your opponent for your one on one game and will have two weeks to get that done. This will be a three round match up set at a points level. 100 pts of fighters vs 100 pts of fighters. For each round you win you recieve 3 pts, a sweep gives you 10. Then week three you repeat the process with another epic game and new opponent,
