good evening all, i am very new to SWEOTG and in fact to roleplay games all together, but having seen the book and been very interested i bought myself a copy only to find that its been misprinted and i have pages 1-24 and then it goes back to 17 and counts up again.... are all the books printed in error like this or is it just my luck that i got a defective copy?

I'm curious, is it just a duplication or are you missing pages 25-32?

well now i look i think im missing earlier pages.... looking in detail i dont have any pages numbered before 17.

so i have some intro pages and stuff and then 17,18,19,20,21,22,24,24 and then 17 onward seems okay.

i only just noticed noticed that it seems im missing earlier pages because i was trying to use the Character Creator that someone has made on here and it told me to go to page 14 to read up about something and i dont have a page 14... i assume everyone else has pages number from 1 ?

I've seen this mentioned a year or so ago on the forums. ffg replaced it no questions asked.

They'll probably tell you to submit a request through their missing/damaged components form. They'll most likely send you a replacement within a few weeks.

This usually has to do with the "signatures" which are groups of sheets printed out in increments of 8 or 16 then folded over and stitched to the next signature. Sometimes a signature gets duplicated or left out or both. I had this same issue with an RPG book several years ago and the company replaced it with no issue.
