I'd grab #1 if those 2 emission trails weren't there. So 3>1>4>5>2

think they are all a bit busy and would make a mini look kind of out of scale when placed on it?? but as pictures they are cool... just my two cents.

They're all too busy for my taste, but #5 would be my pick.

I've never been a big fan of planets on my mats.

too busy for me ... I want to see the ships, so that leaves the unbusy 2. I'd just go with a star field.

I prefer #2. It give me a feel of a space battle above a strategic planet.

I guess the last but only because I don't want asteroids on my mat.

I'm not a big fan of planet maps, but I do like 5 quite a bit.

Another vote for too busy, but out of those 5, I order #3.

I'd photoshop the trails out of #1, or shift the colors on #2 (I think that's Mars). Most of the others are too busy.

It contrasts better with ships and asteroids and has the strategic feel to it. Defend planet, or maybe the secret base in the asteroid.

I don't see any of these as busy. Personally 3 is the coolest.

5 Planets are boring. Asteroids look really cool.

First they are all really nice, but I'm voting for number 1.

It seems number 1 is winning as long as the trails go away, I'll work on that. In the mean time does anyone eles have any good images for a play mat?
