That is a link to the Escalation Compendium: a thread in which I dutifully re-post links to every thread in which Escalation fleets are discussed. Feel free to peruse it for your edification and education :)

Now: onto your fleet:

  • Is there a core around which your fleet is built? That should be present as early as possible, and preferably in the 60 point round.
  • Is there a ship for whom you'd prefer a prerequisite (e.g. Howlrunner wants LOTS of ships)? You may want to file the Pre-req in the 60 points, and save that boss for the 90 point fleet.
  • Are there upgrades you consider "Filler"? Use them to round your curves, or possibly eliminate them.

Basically, any ship/upgrade you put in the 60 round, you'll get to use 4 times as much as a ship/upgrade you put in the 150 round. That's going to be the source of Escalation min-maxing.
