Has anyone ever noticed Luke's Family Heirloom Text, "unless he allows it"? So you have to ask Luke if he want to loss his Gate Box.

Maybe he'd rather have some other item when he goes insane or unconscious. I've always taken that wording to mean that it can't be taken away from his without it being the player's choice -- like when the gypsy's steal items and its the only thing you have.

Yea, it means that Luke can never loose it unless he allows it. Perhaps he'd rather sacrafice it instead of some other item to a rat thing or other encounter.

Well your guys Luke must talk to you when you ask him a question. He never answers me.

I really feel ripped off... I need to contact FF to get a talking Luke because every time he is knocked out, "I ask Luke... do you want to discard your Gate Box" and all he says is, "wooshh (sound of fan) " and I quote.

maybe just maybe they could place one of those little CDs into the Luke cards... like in those singing Happy Birthday cards, etc

The worst part is I know a Luke on these forums, and everytime I see this topic I think of him and what he might say...
