Well I have my tournament deck and i want to build a legacy deck just for some fun matchs with friends.

I want to build it of a Ryu, i'm thinking the newest one, but i also have majority of the other versions of him.

Honestly I can't decide how i want to play him, I had been thinking on throwing in White Gi + some attacks (hilt impact for the stun 2 maybe?) and take use of his E ability allowing me to draw cards that equal my momentum, and use it with black belt to get some nice speed on one of his strong attacks maybe Ryu's Shin shoryuken? and also have Ryu's Ashura Senku in play so for every card u draw your opponent takes damage, and of course when that goes to you discard pile play a tag along and get it back. and there's also other cards i have set aside that gives me some drawing power.

I'm sorry i don't have a deck list up, but there is no deck atm just some ideas in my head. I'm not even sure if it would work out very good or not.. Anyone have any ideas of cards to look for on that type of deck? Or just any ideas how to play a nice solid Ryu deck.

Sounds like you got an idea going already, The idea of black belt together with shin shoryuken is very nice and will probably be lethal..

Other suggestions is just go with what you have, see how it works, replace stuff you feel is useless and so on

Legacy Ryu is a very killer character since he has a very strong finsher (Ryu's Shin Shoryuken) and a strong opener with Seichu Nidan Tsuki which allows you to discard cards to play the multiple ability. If you are looking to take advantage of Ryu's Ashura Senku, look for cards that will help you draw more cards.

Mordai is right; try out different stuff and feel free to put up a build to tinker around with.

6.Ryu with Seichu + You Can't Escape + 8th Bill = gg. Built proper, this idea can go off Turn 1.

4 Dot Ryu is amazing... I would build him off of fire and splash Kunai in there to pump his attacks.

I actually was able to FTK a lot of people with Widow Maker, Kunai to momentum, and then Seichu pumping 2 of em).

you wouldn't believe how consistent this bastard is with the high control checks + Muscle Memory.

Infiltrating is basically a requirement against CC hack decks though. by far this deck's worst matchup is CC hax.
