Hey guys,

Just bought 8 new ships and want to try them.

I have:

2x Tie Phantoms

2x Tie Defenders

2x E wings

2x Z95

Can anyone recommend a few builds with only these ships to fly against each other? Anyone using any builds with only these ships in either faction?

Two onyx, echo with vi, ACD could work.

For rebs, not sure. Etahn, blackmoon, two talas and some upgrades, I guess?

I'm in a similar situation, still have a few days until I can put any of my new ships through their paces but I'm trying to think of some food lists to learn to fly them. This'll work for your Rebels though, and only uses cards found in those two expansions.

Blackmoon Hunters: (a work in progress)

2 x Blackmoon Squadron Pilot (29) + Advanced Sensors (3) + Flechette Torpedoes (2)

2 x Tala Squadron Pilot (13) + Ion Pulse Missiles (3)

I'm thinking about flying a variation on this that ditches the munitions in favour of a third Tala.

You could also downgrade the sensors to Fire Control System to free up points for munitions failsafe on 2 ships, or for a couple of R2s, or drop them altogether for a pair of R7s...

I like to get the hang of new ships by flying generics a couple of times before fielding elite pilots in a smaller fleet, but that's just my take on things; opinions & results may differ.

No input on Imperials yet, but if I think of anything good I'll post it later.

Don't put both Ion Cannon and Ion Pulse Missiles on a single Defender. I tried and it's dumb.
