Hello all!

I'm new to the game and I'm searching for a list that I can play while learning the ropes.

I'm planning on running Rookies X4 w/Shield upgrade in a keep it simple approach.

I'm also thinking about running Prototype Pilots X2 and Blue squadron X3.

What say the vets out there??

Those are Ok lists, but will have trouble in the current Meta(Phantoms eat lists like that alive). 4 X's is best with a couple upgraded pilots and a couple Rookies.

Whatever you like works though. But 4 Shield upgrades iis probably unnecesary.

They're both perfectly reasonable builds - especially for a beginner. Fly them, enjoy them and learn.

It's a great game, enjoy.

I'm also thinking Red Squadron X4 (2 w/shield upgrade)

Two less shields but a better Pilot skill.

Other than 4 X-Wings, what ships do you have?

Careful with exclusively low PS squads out there too. There's Predator to deal with, and many ships that punish you if you move before them (Phantoms, Defenders, Interceptors), as well as a few that can get a serious target lock advantage over you.

Try to have at least one hero to build your list around if you are going with all small ships.

KISS is nice! But that also means having staying power too! If you want to stick with XWings, which I've been running a lot in league, think HIGH PS, add astromechs and shields and you've got it made, only with THREE XWings, not four.

I run Wes, Wedge and Luke with a couple VI, a couple of different astromechs and a couple of shield upgrades!
