What heroes should be next?

By Maelora, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Okay, with four Hero and Monster collections revealed, who would you like to see next?

I personally would like something a little different. I think we've had quite enough male human warriors for a while.

What I'd like to see:

Okaluk and Rakash: a mounted figure would be fun

Ronan/Vyrah/Challara: because pets are so cool, and a dragon familiar would be great

Mad Carthos: he seems kinda iconic to the game to me

Ispher, Lyssa, Zyla, Karnon, Varikas, Steelhorns: because they represent races we haven't seen in Descent 2 yet.

C'mon FFG, play to Runebound's uniqueness, show us something different instead of the same old generic heroes!

I really hope all of these will get a get a facelift.

really hope for the different races.

I definitely want to see Zyla, as she was my favorite hero initially. Also, Varikas, who is one of my boyfriend's favorite heroes to play as. Lyssa and Steelhorns also have pretty great designs already, so I'd like to see them. Really, I want any non-human/elf/orc/dwarf characters. I'm a little confused as why the second edition wants to stick with the same old races.

I want to see Ispher, as I said really often, Challara for the dragon pet but with a new feat (old one is totaly unusefull ...), Lyssa, and Karnon.

A full "non human heroes box" would be love to me, even if it means a new hero (Ispher as a healer, Lyssa as a mage, Karnon as a yeti, and lion thing as a scout)

Grey Ker, Mad Carthos, Verikas the dead, Steelhorns, Aurim, Karnon, Hugo the Glorious, and all the Orcs. All of em.

As for monsters I'd really like to see Kobolds(since apparently they're amazing for bringing in Agents), Demon Lords, Hell Hounds, Ogres, and Ice Wyrms.

Healer: Aurim

Mage: Master Thorn

Scout: Arvel Worldwalker

Warrior: Nanok

I'm personally not as stoked about remade 1st edition heroes- they're very cool, but what I'd most like to see is new additions. Since 1st edition didn't have any "native" healers, what I think 2nd edition could benefit from is some new characters designed to be healers, not just pushed into that archetype.
