I only just got the Rebel Transport so I was very excited to try Tarn Mison and an R7 astromech.

My list:

My Opponent's List:

Now there wasn't too much synergy between my two pilots since Tarn has no trouble getting his own locks, though this will probably be more useful in later rounds with more ships.

Fel went down fast after he bumped his own ships and lost his actions. After a few shots he went down to an ion cannon.

Tarn drew their fire for a while until he finally died.

In the end every Tie went down to the ion canon. Dutch took a crit but before long he was back up to 3 shields thanks to his droid.

I'm starting to really like Y-Wings again.

Y-wings are amazing. Try adding a pair of Y-wings to an HSF Falcon... or add Katarn to a Salm and a Gold Squadron. Turrets are frakking awesome.

You got 3 shields back?? That's very surprising. That means you took focus on at least three occasions and didn't need to spend it on your attack OR on defense.

Also while Tarn is good for escalation, pairing him with dutch seems counter productive. Any target lock action dutch gives him might not matter if another ship is attacking him anyways for the free lock.
