This weekend was the perfect time to finally go all in on the battlefoam. Wave 4 finally dropped, and battlefoam had a sale! I suppose I should have posted during the sale, but I didn't get my own order in until the last day.
The Pack 720 holds plenty of nerdy Star Wars goodness. They have a lot of premade foam for X-wing, but a lot of it is sold with an additional token/dial/template tray that may not be necessary. I prefer a Plano organizer for templates and tokens so I don't need to bag all that crap up between games, just flip it open and grab Focus tokens as needed. Additionally, I have a notebook for pilot and upgrade cards.
The Pack 720 fits 12 inches of foam trays, including the 0.25 inch of foam between each tray. Getting the numbers right was somewhat tricky, but I manage to fill up only 9.5 inches. This left room for one 2 inch (plus .25 inch of foam) tray (which was ordered as pluck foam in anticipation for wave 5) and a 0.25 foam topper. The two inches of foam can be used for tokens or templates if someone desired.
Visual aid, imagining you are stacking the foam in the pack:
Topper - 0.25 inches
Pluck - 2 + 0.25 inches
Utility tray (ship bases, damage decks, dials) - 2 + 0.25 inches
Ship tray 1 - 1.5 + 0.25 inches
Ship tray 2 (same as 1) - 1.5 + 0.25 inches
Epic Tray - 3.5 + 0.25 inches
Total - 12 inches
Space could have been saved by placing some ships vertically in the foam, but I really liked the cutouts. I created a tray that would hold half of the ships I have or may potentially buy and then just ordered two of the same. Ship counts vary, but I tried to base them off point costs and likelihood to buy more (example: I can imagine getting up to 6 B-wings, so placed 3 on the tray creator. More expensive ships like the E-wing or Defender I would probably only get 4 so only placed two on the tray)
One thing to note: when using the tray creator there is a recommended layer of foam that is recommended between each cutout. If the cutouts overlap or are too close the shapes turns red. In some cases this is desired, such as allowing snug slots for the ship bases (see this BBG poster's awesome setup http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/89609/how-best-use-battlefoam).
Sorry for huge picture, my imagefu is weak.

If I missed or was unclear on anything feel free to ask!
TLDR: Look at oversized pictures and see if you find it useful.
