Another Hero & Monster Collection!

I'm still waiting for the Nagas to be remade, but I like the choices for the new set for the most part. I haven't had any experience with any of the four heroes, so they will be nice options for my hero players.

The shining star is, of course, the crypt dragons! Also, the wendigos have always been one of my favorite monsters. The Dark Priests have been buffed, which was well-needed, and I think they'll see a lot of play in my group (love human monsters).

What does everyone else think?

I really like what they did to Sahla's hero ability- he can now transfer conditions, rather than just healing them- that's huge- it would also make him a very interesting spiritspeaker.

Where can you see the changes they've made to Sahla and the Dark Priests?

Any ideas on who the heroes are? One looks like it could be Silhouette, the other could be Lord hawthorn or Sir Valdir. I cannot pinpoint who the orc is.

Based on how the old figures look I would say that it is probably Lord Hawthorn and I guess that the orc must be Bogran the Shadow

guys... Its written in that post :D

"You’ll find the orc warrior Mordrog battling in the front lines alongside Lord Hawthorne. At the same time, Sahla, a gifted Healer, focuses his power by channeling the strength of other heroes, even as the deadly assassin known as Silhouette uses her stealth and cunning to cut her enemies down."

Good that there are some people who bothers with the text ;)

So no mage in this one then? Guess that is because there are slightly more warrior heroes in total?

That makes sense. The math doesn't work out to have 4 heroes from (1 from each archetype) if they plan to re-release all first edition heroes.

Another side note about math, the size of these H&M packs (3 monsters, 4 heroes) also doesn't jive with the total number of heroes (48) and monsters (25) in the conversion kit. This implies 1 of a few things:

1) Some H&M packs will contain more (or less) heroes (or monsters.)

2) They are planning to release only some of the first edition heroes.

3) They are planning to put brand new monsters into some of these packs.

If they release all of the CK monsters but only some of the heroes, there will be between 8-9 H&M packs. If they release all of the heroes, 4 to a pack, there will be 12- but that leaves space for 11 new monsters.

As someone who didn't play first edition I love this, it's all new to me! And they sure love announcing stuff. They just announced the other hero and monster pack like last month. I guess they just wanna get them all out fast. I'm not complaining.

Crown of destiny is in 3 days, here I come game shop!

well looking at the product codes, my guess is that DJ-26 to DJ-34 will be this first wave of Monster&heroes boxes.
