G'day guys, I have been trying this list on vassal for the last week and a half, and I have been having quite some success with it. Here it is:

Wes Janson: with R2 and swarm tactics

Jan Ors with Ion cannon turret and nein numb

Biggs

Bandit Squadron pilot

From my test games, every time I use jan I love her more and more! High PS ion shots are just simply annoying and giving a TL-ed/Focussed Wes Janson is simply mean sometimes!

The bandit is a great ship filler and provides that extra damage to an action defenseless ship (via Wes). And for Biggs, its just typical biggs providing a 1 turn durability magnet.

Keeping Jan ors in the picture, I was curious to how you would modify this list.

If you want to run Wes put VI on him. He'll shoot first 98% of the time and he'll be able to strip the tokens off your opponents biggest threat. Swarm Tactics doesn't really help too much in this list. I guess you can ST Biggs so he can get a firing oppurtunity, but after he's gone STing the Bandit is not a big offensive punch.

Personally I would rather run Wedge and put Squad Leader on Jan Ors. Wedge can TL and Focus plus be buffed by an extra attack die. He will kill something with 3 or less hitpoints almost every turn.

I just think Jan Ors is a little too expensive... She's fun to use, but competitively a B-wing or X-wing instead of the HWK makes more sense.
