X-Wing League Nights 2014 Season 5 at Madness - Plano, TX

Hey all!


I want to announce that Madness Games and Comics in Plano, TX will be hosting League play for X-Wing from 5pm to Midnight every Friday starting July 11th and going for 6 weeks. It is anticipated that the store will continue doing further leagues on the same day AS WELL AS hosting a Regional on July 19th!

League Structure: Show up on Friday from 5pm-midnight and find an opponent to play! No entry cost/signup required. Each match you play following standard FFG tournament rules counts towards the league and prize giveaways. We will have score sheets for recording wins/losses for each match that you can turn into the organizers each week. The league will run for 6 weeks and prizes will be given away for various achievements. I will update this thread with current standings/breakdown each week (usually on Monday).


Prizes: We will be giving away prizes from the FFG Kits, old and new. Prizes for the league will be given throughout the 6 weeks with the 'biggest' ones the final week. Obviously the more you participate, the more special stuff you will be rewarded.

If you are interested in x wing, Madness is the place to be. Great facilities, great people, great fun. Everyone there is eager to teach newbies and offer any help they can. Somehow I managed to finish 5th last season without even realizing it! I am excited for the new season!

Ot. Big props to Matt for making it to the finals in SW lcg. Can't tell from the team covenant twitter feed if he won, but good going Matt. Guess you have to go to worlds now huh?

He lost in the Finals, coming in at 2nd place in the tournament. Still, an excellent achievement and one he can be proud of.
